A group of young ladies from Bath, who get slim and fit through pole dancing, are campaigning to shake off its sleazy image. Charlotte Masters, 25, finds pole dancing a great work out, but is fed up with the reaction she often gets when she talks about the exercise. With the help of ITV Fixers, Charlotte and her friends have been able to demonstrate the fitness benefits of pole exercise and change the attitudes of a number of skeptics – including a rugby team!
Nicole, of Crossfit fame, overhead squatting her bodyweight (150lbs) 15 times. Wow. 150 pound overhead squat is not a light weight, especially 15 times. I would consider this a nice achievement female or male. Major props and keep up the good work. Nice lifting shoes BTW…
I used to think I was in outstanding shape. I can go into any gym and lift impressive weights for my size and I look like a Ninja Master on the treadmill. I can run a few miles in a decent period of time, I don't have any noticeable body fat, etc. That was until I explored the world of bodyweight circuits. My 20+ years of consistent lifting and intense cardio, have not prepared me at all for the intense torture called Bodyweight Circuits.
[This is the exact workout I have been doing in my apartment 3 times per week. I thought this would be a piece of cake…heck it looks like the type of training I did in Junior High!]
Tricep push-ups are modified push-ups that work the tricep muscles with a specific positioning of the arms. Do these exercises (tricep push-ups) with excellent form, either on the knees or if you are strong, on the toes.
